Your body already knows how to heal.

Sometimes it just needs a little guidance.

Chiropractic, Exeter, Devon

Art to inspire curiosity

Grounded in care, guided by connection.

Grounded Chiropractic offers gentle, whole-body chiropractic care in Exeter, Devon. Trained in McTimoney technique, I use light, precise touch and take the time to understand you, not just where it hurts.

What to expect

A gentle, hands-on, person-centred approach that looks beyond symptoms to support movement, function, and the body’s natural ability to heal.

Your first visit starts with a conversation about your history, your life and what you are noticing in your body.

This will include any relevant orthopaedic and neural testing and may include your first chiropractic adjustment.

Listening first

Gentle, precise care

A light-touch approach that looks at the whole body, not just the sore spot.

Simple guidance on movement, posture and breathing between visits. Your body knows how to heal. We just need to remove what's getting in the way.

Working with you

Care that reminds you to listen to the wisdom within, with time to talk, ask questions and decide what feels right.

Meet Melody

I’m Melody, a chiropractor and artist working in Exeter, Devon. For me, these aren’t two separate lives. Both come from the same conviction: that the body has its own intelligence, and that we’re at our best when we listen to it.

I qualified with an integrated master’s degree in chiropractic (MChiro) and I’m registered with the General Chiropractic Council (registration number 6500). My training is in McTimoney technique, a light-touch, whole-body approach, and it shapes how I work: gently, precisely, and with time to listen.

I don’t see people as a list of symptoms. I’m interested in how you move, how you live, and what your body has been trying to tell you.

I’ve been a visual artist for decades after completing a Fine Arts (BA hons) in Falmouth College of Art. My work, including The Spine Series and The Pineal Gland Series, explores where the physical and the metaphysical meet: anatomy, sacred geometry and the unseen patterns we’re all part of.

Chiropractic and painting have taught me the same thing, that there is always more going on beneath the surface than we can see.
